Baseline Sports recently completed a renovation to the original fabric frame structure we built in 2000 at Pellissippi State Community College. The fabric roof had some wear and tear and the ventilation systems and playing surfaces were also in need of upgrades. Work included removal of the old fabric panels and installation and heat welding of the new skin as well as fabrication and installation of nine automatic glass garage doors and two large, high volume fans for circulation. The old configuration of the facility included three tennis courts and one basketball court. The renovations included paving new asphalt base to match the elevations for conversion to 2 tennis courts (with pickleball lines) and 2 basketball courts (with option for volleyball). New acrylic surfacing and striping was done for tennis and a highly durable engineered court flooring was installed for basketball. Striping and logos were all custom for the school. New netting and divider curtains finished off the project.
